The story of China Shipping (Romania) Agency Co. Ltd. starts in 1999, when Transatlantic Shipping and Trading Ltd., with the headquarters in Bucharest and one branch office in Constanta, became the exclusive agent in Romania for China Shipping Container Lines. From that moment on, the carrier, China Shipping Container Line hereinafter CSCL started to become well known on the Romanian containerized transport market. It developed despite of the rigorous competition, and gained a competitive advantage through its sustained growth and development potential, so that now it numbers among the first five carriers on the market.

After 7 years of successful operation on the Romanian market, the Shanghai based China Shipping Group Company signed a joint venture agreement with Transatlantic Ltd. for the establishment of China Shipping (Romania) Agency Co. Ltd. Starting on 1st of January 2006, the company continues to operate under the CSCL philosophy. Our values are performance, both in the transport services and client assistance, and flexibility to respond as well as possible to present and future market demands. Our image is built up with credibility, efficiency and quality.
